The 2027 event listing identifies vehicle displays, an exhibitor marketplace, food, sponsor experiences and thrill rides in addition to the auction. A spectator does not need to be buying a car to attend.

Exhibitors and current automotive experiences can fill substantial time. They are additions to the visit, not evidence that every date offers the same program.

THE DOCKET IS THE SPECTATOR'S MOST USEFUL TOOL

The docket is the organizer's ordered list of auction lots. When it becomes available for 2027, use it to connect the display hall to the block:

  1. Save a small group of lot numbers. Choose cars you genuinely want to see rather than attempting to study the full catalog.
  2. Note the auction date and relative order. A lot number locates the car within a sequence; it does not guarantee an exact sale time.
  3. Find the cars on display first. Allow enough walking time that the block does not become the first time you encounter the vehicle.
  4. Choose an auction window. Watch the run containing the most relevant lots and let the remaining block time be optional.
If the 2027 docket is still marked “coming soon,” do not choose a date for a particular car. Buy only if the broader event is enough, or wait until the organizer publishes the lot assignment.

SPECTATOR ADMISSION IS NOT BIDDER REGISTRATION

A visitor does not need to be buying or selling a car for the event to make sense. Public spectators attend to see the vehicles, auction process and broader show. Registered bidders enter a separate transactional system with credentials, terms and responsibilities controlled by Barrett-Jackson.

Admission, premium hospitality and bidder credentials solve different problems. A spectator ticket does not authorize a bid. Anyone considering a purchase must use current official registration, deposit, fee, payment, title, tax, transport and auction-term information; this guide does not summarize or interpret those obligations.

WHAT NO RESERVE MEANS—AND WHAT IT DOES NOT

In a no-reserve auction, the seller has not set a hidden minimum price that must be reached before the lot can sell. When the bidding ends, the highest accepted bid determines the sale under the auction's applicable terms.

No reserve does not mean inexpensive, undervalued or guaranteed to sell within a buyer's limit. The format removes a seller's reserve threshold; the auction's terms and the highest accepted bid govern the transaction. Check the individual lot and current terms rather than generalizing from the event's branding.

Reserve the desired live-auction period, then use display time to understand vehicles before or after that window. This works only when the current docket identifies the sequence.

Use the event as a broad automotive show and watch enough live auction action to understand the process without making the block the entire day.

WESTWORLD: ARRIVAL AND WALKING BELONG IN THE VISIT

WestWorld's full property covers 386 acres and includes 300,000 square feet of exhibit space. Barrett-Jackson does not necessarily use every part, but the official event map is essential because vehicle displays, the main auction area, exhibitors and outdoor experiences are not one room.

  • Address: WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road.
  • Current 2027 dates: January 23–31.
  • Arrival: the 2027 page currently describes complimentary public parking with shuttles, fee-based valet and a signed rideshare area; confirm the exact map before travel.
  • Site conditions: expect indoor and outdoor movement, long display aisles and standing near auction activity. Use the current bag, water, mobility-device and service-animal policies.

Old Town is a separate central-Scottsdale destination, not a walkable extension of WestWorld. If it is part of the same day, choose one Old Town stop after the auction and use the Old Town guide for the district decision.
